RAP Committee
Both Centres are committed to fostering children's understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. We believe it is important to challenge biases that may impact on children's future attitudes towards cultural diversity.
Through our programs and practices we aim to ensure the cultures and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are embedded into our everyday practices and children's learning experiences.
We have established a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Committee who assist us to explore Aboriginal culture and learn about ways of belonging, being and becoming.
Our vision is for Australia to be a place of equity, dignity and respect.
