Centre Philosophy

The Educators and Management of our Centres are strong advocates for children, their wellbeing and rights. Children will be encouraged to explore, play, enjoy, learn and develop in a warm, secure and caring environment where each child is able to develop confidence and independence at their own pace. The practices of Educators and Management and the operation of both Centres are guided by the following twelve focal points and are further clarified in the comprehensive policy found in our parent hand book.

  1. Early Childhood Australia’s Code of Ethics
  2. The National Quality Framework
  3. Early Years Learning Framework
  4. Language and Communication
  5. Effective Family Relationships
  6. Strong Community connection
  7. Healthy Lifestyle
  8. Environmental Awareness
  9. Respect Cultural Diversity
  10. Continual Professional Development
  11. Continuity of Educators and practices
  12. Committed to Work Health and Safety Practices

"We acknowledge that we are gathered here today on the land of the Kaurna People. We would like to pay our respects to the elders who hold such a deep connection to this land, it's waterways and creatures, it's history and it's future."
