Child Care Subsidy

The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment made by the Australian Government to help families with the cost of quality Child Care and Education.

The CCS is means targeted and will be paid directly to the Service. The number of hours of subsidised care families can access will be determined by an Activity Test.

The higher the level of activity, the more hours of subsidised care families can access and therefore less out of pocket expenses.

There are many forms of recognised activity and our friendly Office Staff can assist our families in calculating the maximum number of hours claimable in order to maximise their fee assistance.

To receive CCS, families must create a MyGov Account and link it to their Centrelink online account. Income estimates, activity hours and enrolment at our Centre will all need to be confirmed on line. Once the Child Care Subsidy assessment is complete the amount of CCS and Activity hours will be available and the Centre can provide families with their out of pocket expenses.

More information about CCS and the Activity test can be accessed at https://www.education.gov.au/child-care-package/child-care-subsidy Families will be able to access an online calculator to determine their eligible CCS percentage.

“MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR CHILD CARE SUBSIDY”

By offering flexible hours of care to our full time enrolments. All attendances for our full time enrolments are submitted as a 10 hour day whilst maintaining the flexibility of the 12 hour day and do not attract any penalty fees. This ten hour session of care is designed to further reduce out of pocket expenses by ensuring all hours of care utilised are subsidised thereby maximising  Child Care Subsidy.

"We acknowledge that we are gathered here today on the land of the Kaurna People. We would like to pay our respects to the elders who hold such a deep connection to this land, it's waterways and creatures, it's history and it's future."
